Effect of prolonged swimming on the distribution of ascorbic acid and cholesterol in the tissues of the guinea-pig.
摘要:
Guineapigs made to swim for 30 min twice daily for 13 days grew less and had lower spleen weight, cholesterol concentration in liver and less ascorbic acid in adrenals, spleen and brain and heavier adrenals than control animals. Ascorbic acid in eye lens and testis and cholesterol in plasma and brain were not affected by exercise.-A. H.
