Pulmonary Lymphomas
摘要:
Cancer continues to be a major public health problem throughout the world. It is estimated that one in four individuals in the United States will succumb to malignant disease. For 2006, the American Cancer Society has estimated that there will be 66,670 new cases of lymphoma, including 7,800 cases of Hodgkin's lymphoma and 58,870 cases of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. 1 Approximately 52% of these cases will be male and 48% female. In addition, lymphoma will account for approximately 20,000 deaths in 2006, with equal affliction in males and females. 1 Primary pulmonary lymphoma is rare, representing only 3%–4% of cases of extranodal non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and 0.5%72–1% of primary pulmonary malignancies. 2
