Derivatives of imidazole corresponding to formula I wherein X, X, Y' and Y, whether or not identical, can have different significancies, R' is hydrogen, a methyl or phenyl group, R and R, whether or not identical, represent hydrogen, a hydroxyl, alkyl or alkoxy group, it being possible for R' and R together to represent a carbon-carbon bond, R and R, whether or not identical, being hydrogen or alkyl, and the tautomers and salts of these compounds, also the pharmaceutical compositions containing them.
