The Synthesis of 3-Substituted Pyrrole-2,4-dicarboxylic Acid Esters: Reaction of Methyl Isocyanoacetate with Aldehydes
摘要：
A one-step synthesis of dimethyl 3-substituted pyrrole-2, 4-dicarboxylates by the reaction of methyl isocyanoacetate with various aldehydes in the presence of DBU was carried out. Furthermore, the reaction mechanism was investigated; it was found that the methyl ±-isocyanoacrylate compound is a key intermediate of the pyrrole compound.
