摘要：

A new so-called liquid-filling process for filling hard gelatin capsules with liquid and semisolid materials was developed and has been used on a production scale for some years. The highly viscous filling materials are heated and filled into capsules under a high pressure by means of time-controlled pneumatic valves. Experiences concerning production are reported. Galenical and biopharmaceutical aspects of the dosage form, such as development of appropriate formulations considering stability and desired bioavailability, are discussed.
