PURPOSE: A divergence device for connecting a super high density ribbon multi-core optical cable is provided to enable a user to handle easily by branching and protecting an optical fiber of the optical cable. CONSTITUTION: A divergence housing(10) is attached at a front end of a super high density ribbon multi-core optical cable, and branches and withdraws a bundle of 12-core ribbon type optical cable. A protection tube(20) is extended from the divergence housing, and protects the withdrawn 12-core ribbon type optical fiber bundle. A first divergence part(30) is attached to the front end of the protection tube, and branches and withdraws the 12-core ribbon type optical fiber bundle into 12-core ribbon type optical fiber. A first protection tube(40) is extended from the first divergence part, and protects the withdrawn 12-core ribbon type optical fiber. A second divergence part(50) is attached to the front end of the first protection tube, and branches and withdraws the 12-core ribbon type optical fiber respectively in order to enable a connecting work.
