摘要：

A fine metal oxide powder having been subjected to a surface treatment so as to have hydrophobicity and being usable as an additive for a powder material, wherein the peak value of particle size distribution for agglomerated particles of the fine powder is of the same level or less as compared to the average particle diameter of the above powder material. The fine metal oxide powder exhibits high dispersibility in the powder material and thus can be used as an additive for producing a toner for an electronic photography which is markedly improved in initial build-up property of charge, image characteristics and cleaning property.
