Research on Intelligent Recognition Technology of Automatic Charging and Pressing for Fuze Initiating Explosive Device

Fuze is a control system (or device) that uses target, environment or command information to release arming under predetermined conditions and detonate or ignite the charge of ammunition warhead at favorable time or position. Ammunition is the core part of weapon system and the final means to complete the given combat task. As the control system (or device) of the ammunition warhead which produces damage effect or terminal effect on the target, fuze is always in the forefront of terminal confrontation of weapons and ammunition battlefield. A large number of actual combat cases show that the fuze with perfect performance and reliable quality can ensure the ammunition warhead to effectively damage the target. This paper puts forward the project design of automatic charging and pressing system for fuze initiating explosive device in an initiating explosive device factory. The design of the project is to establish a new charging and pressing system, which can automatically identify the charge height, charge density, charge pressure and other parameters in the assembly process of fuze pyrotechnic products, and automatically eliminate the unqualified products, so as to replace the backward fully manual equipment.
