An adhesive strip or tape for producing or gluing optical liquid crystal data displays (LCD's) is disclosed. The adhesive tape comprises an upper side and a lower side; a carrier film having an upper side and a lower side, wherein a laminate made from a dye-free adhesive layer and a colored adhesive layer applied to one side of the carrier film; and at least one external adhesive layer applied on the upper and lower sides of the adhesive tape.
