The invention relates to a self-cleaning nozzle for spraying a fluid, having a nozzle housing (1) and a nozzle head of multi-part design which is arranged therein and encloses a flow duct (4) with an outlet opening (5) for the fluid. In this case, the expenditure on production can be reduced by virtue of the fact that the nozzle head has at least one stationary head element (2) and at least one displaceably mounted head element (3), which each form a portion of the outlet opening (5), wherein the displaceable head element (3) is pressed, during normal operation, by the pressure of the fluid against a stop (7) lying in the direction of flow (6) of the fluid, and, during self-cleaning at a reduced fluid pressure, is pressed by a spring (8) counter to the direction of flow (6).
