PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition which has good impact resistance, chemical resistance, moldability, heat resistance, gas barrier properties against corrosion factor substances, water resistance, and adhesion to metals and does not cause the deformation due to embrittlement and shrinkage and the like even when used in a severe environment such as in hot water, a resin film using the same, and a resin covered metallic plate which is covered with a resin film obtained by laminating the resin film. SOLUTION: The resin composition is obtained by adding 0.1-50 mass% inorganic particles having polarity to a mixture containing (A) a polyester resin having an intrinsic viscosity of >=0.3 dl/g and (B) a vinyl polymer having >=1 mass% unit having a polar group. The resin film uses this resin composition, and the resin covered metallic plate uses the resin film.
