Pharmaceutical compositions containing erythromycin, or an ester thereof, and inosine, or an acidic derivative thereof, in molar ratios varying from 5:1 to 1:5, particularly in the form of a salt of erythromycin dipropionate (or of erythromycin ethylsuccinate) with inosinic acid in the molar ratio 2:1, display antibiotic and immunostimulating properties, which make them particularly useful from the therapeutic point of view.
