Ketamine as an induction agent in anaesthetics.
摘要：
Ketamine has been used in over four hundred and fifty ansthetic inductions, including minor and major gyncological procedures and minor pdiatric cases. Side-effects were a problem, and a rise in systolic blood-pressure, increased pulse-rate, and emergence excitement, although lessened by certain forms of premedication, could not be wholly avoided at doses of 2 mg. per kg. bodyweight.
