The present invention is an optical communication device operating as an optical subscriber line terminating device to which a plurality of subscriber-side terminal devices can be connected. The optical communication device is provided with: a signal generation unit (transmission signal generator (32) and transmission digital filter (33)) for generating a signal transmitted to the plurality of subscriber-side terminal devices; an adjustment amount determination unit for determining the amount of adjustment of the position of a signal point on the complex plane of the signal on the basis of a light resource allocated to each of the plurality of subscriber-side terminal devices and the transmission distance to each of the plurality of subscriber-side terminal devices; a signal adjustment unit (34) for adjusting the position of a signal point on the complex plane of the signal on the basis of the adjustment amount; and an optical signal generation unit (37) for converting the signal after the signal point is adjusted by the signal adjustment unit into an optical signal.
