The object is to provide a novel nanotechnology-based strategy for a anti-angiogenesis therapy, particularly statin encapsulated in a biodegradable nanoparticle. The statin-encapsulated nanoparticle enables the local treatment with statin and can provide the improvement in therapeutic efficacy of statin in a disease which can be treated with statin including ischemic angiogenesis.
