The invention relates to a device (9) for restoring the delimiting bone walls (8, 25) of body cavities, especially of the maxillary sinus (4, 5). For this purpose, the device (9) has a balloon (11) which can be arranged in the body cavity (5) and is filled via a supply line (19) with a, preferably compressible, fluid. In the course of filling, the balloon (11) assumes an outer contour corresponding to the inner contour of the body cavity (5), by which means the surface of the injured bone wall (25) is contacted and transferred into the anatomically correct position. For precisely metering the pressure on the injured bone wall (25) it is possible to arrange inside the balloon (11) an additional balloon (21) which can be filled with a compressible fluid via a separate supply line (22), so that both the pressure on the injured bone wall (25) and the position thereof can be optimised. <IMAGE>
