Primary classic Hodgkin lymphoma of the lung with no demonstrated extrapulmonary involvement is extremely rare. Due to rarity and lack of specific clinical presentation and radiological features, diagnosis is commonly challenging for the general pathologist. This lymphoma is notable for its association with a polymorphous inflammatory background; thus, differential diagnosis includes inflammatory and infectious processes, as well as other non-Hodgkin lymphomas. This chapter addresses the morphologic and immunophenotypic differences between classic Hodgkin lymphomas and other non-Hodgkin lymphomas in the lung.
