The invention relates to a method to study, by microscopy, model reactions of cells / cell aggregates, for example, cancer cells, with a high resolution in the time during the infusion by means of at least one test medium in liquid state, said medium comprising, for example, cytotoxic drugs. According to the invention, we introduce the cells / cell aggregates in a small space (17) disposed in an infusion chamber, in which they are perfused by means of a control medium, motility and normal responses of said cells investigated and recorded. Subsequently, cells / cell aggregates are perfused with the test medium, which causes exchange of the control medium with a resolution in the specific time, the model of motility and reactions of the cells / aggregates cells in the test medium being studied and then recorded. One can thus obtain important information about cell shape, cell size, cell motility, cell death, cell fluorescence etc. The invention also relates to an apparatus useful for carrying out said method. Said apparatus comprises a large chamber (3) serving as a reservoir for the perfusion medium and a small space (17) for the cells / cell aggregates through which the medium perfusion takes place. In addition, the apparatus comprises a microscope with which the model can be studied in motility and responses of cells / cell aggregates during perfusion, as well as suction means for outputting a medium space (17) and to fit a different environment in the same space (17).
