摘要:

The article delineates the physical activity levels of children (6-11 years old), adolescents (12-19 years old) and adults (20 years old and above) employing the objective data with accelerometers in the U.S. population. It illustrates how physical activity surges and declines depending upon the focus age brackets and how the adapted lifestyle affects the quality of life each individual adheres. It also presents the strengths and limitations of the employed cross-sectional study on monitoring physical activity of the National Health and Nutritional Examination Survey (NHANES) that should be considered.
