摘要:

The developmental period (egg-adult) of Plautia stali Scott average 40.3 days. Eggs hatched in an average of 6.4 days. Development of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th instars averaged 5.4, 6.8, 5.4, 6.3, and 10.1 days, respectively. Females were polyandrous and males polygamous. The premating period for newly emerged adults depended upon the sexual maturity of their mates. The average age when 1st oviposition occurred was 9.9 days. Mating frequency influenced fecundity and egg fertility.
