Presents a study which measured isothermal desorption rates for trichloroethylene on a silica gel, an aquifer sediment, a soil, sand fraction and a clay and silt fraction. Indication of slow desorption being controlled by activated diffusion in micropores; Suggestion that micropores are undulating in nature.
