摘要：

The article presents a study on the limits of predictive models using microarray data for breast cancer clinical treatment. The result from the data show that two-gene expression ratio does predict response to tamoxifen. For a proper validation of the performance of the two-gene predictor, or any predictor, it is recommendable that an adequately sized patient cohort be used that is clinically equivalent to the original cohort.
