The article reports that Charles Industries Ltd.s' Pedlock BDO Series of Fiber Distribution Pedestals are buried nonmetallic distribution pedestals designed specifically to protect fiber branch and drop splices in fiber-to-the-home applications. The pedestals offer access to branch and drop splices while protecting and storing loosebuffer tube fiber optic cables. A special splice bracket allows for mounting splice trays and splitters securely with access for in-field splicing.
