Integrated multidisciplinary research and demonstration project 'INTENSYS' for future modes of living and concepts for sustainable housing
摘要:
INTENSYS stands for "INTcgratcd designed and highly ENergy efficient and societal SYStems for sustainable modes of living of the future". It is a research project of the Austrian climate and energy fund. In this project, societal, constructional and technical aspects and innovative approaches are integrated in a holistic concept to be developed and realised as a show case for highly energy efficient multi-storey buildings in timber. To achieve the objective of a sustainable concept with greater efficiency at affordable expenses, high-density housing will be combined with net-zero energy technology, flexible floor plans, healthy indoor climate, an advanced analysis of ecological impact and a life-cycle assessment. The project includes different types of buildings with apartments and service accommodations for 250 inhabitants and will be developed and built in 2012 in Absam / Tyrol (Austria) in cooperation with the largest nonprofit developer in Austria. The poster documents the project and focuses on two innovative aspects and outputs of INTENSYS for low-rise multi-storey buildings in wood: 1. New connection systems for removable components in timber to achieve flexible floor plans 2. Impact of building components in regard to the indoor health quality.
