摘要：

this paper introduces the working principle and features of separate components of the laser welding machine tool used in can making.The control unity is a TP801 microcomputer, which causes the LWTM operating according to informations in sensors . Many cans were welded in it . The properties of the welded cans are tested. Experimental results show that its quality is very good . The welding speed of LWTM is 8.3m/min . It is an efficient automatic machine tool.
