The structure of C7H8·2AgNO3 was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction methods. The silver atoms are connected in chains by O-N-O- links of the nitrate groups. One double bond of the olefin forms the third ligand about the silver atom; the axis of the double bond lies approximately in the plane of the OAgO link of the chain so that the coordination about Ag is triangular-planar....
