摘要：

The article presents a study on the association of arsenic, copper, cadmium, manganese, lead, zinc, and selenium with Blackfoot disease (BFD), a peripheral vascular disorder. The amount of the substances in the urine of the BFD patients were measured using atomic absorption spectrometry. The results showed higher amounts of copper, arsenic, cadmium, manganese, and lead in the urine of the BFD patients than for the normal controls. Zinc and selenium were seen with lower amounts in the BFD patients.
