Intramolecular cycloadditions with azomethine ylides for the synthesis of metacyclophanes
摘要：
On thermal treatment of the aziridines 5a - fintramolecular cycloaddition reactions of the intermediate azomethine ylides 6 result in the formation of the metacyclophanes 7 - 9. For 7a and 7b the conformational barriers areestimated to be approximately 20 and 12 kcal/mol, respectively.
