A method for continuously supplying a uniform vapor of a polymerizable substance and / or crosslinked. A continuous liquid flow of said substance is supplied at a temperature below both the decomposition temperature and said substance polymerization temperature and atomized in a stream of liquid droplets having a particle size between about 1 and 50 microns. The droplets are sprayed continuously on contact with a heated surface which is maintained at a temperature equal or greater than the boiling point of said substance, hands below the temperature at which said droplets would undergo pyrolysis before vaporizing. The steam may be deposited on a substrate and then polymerized or crosslinked.
