"Ethical Aspects of Genetic Control"

Genetic medicine and manipulation are challenged on ethical grounds. This includes a condemnation of sacrifice of even a zygote as a form of abortion which the author feels is immoral. Such a view holds embryology fetology and all forms of laboratory reproduction as immoral and condem the physicians and scientists as murderers. On the basis of consequences abortion and/or genetic control could not be considered immoral. However the moralist questions the values we seek and asks if humanness is something given in a conceptus or something that develops in it.
