A novel ligational mode of pyrimidine-2-thione. Molecular structure of dimethyl-(4-trifluromethyl-6-methylpyrimidine-2-thionate)thallium(III)
摘要：
The reaction between 4-trifluromethyl-6-methylpyrimidine-2-thione (4-CF-6-CHpymSH) and dimethylthallium(III) hydroxide in methanol yielded [MeTl(4-CF-6-CHpymS)]; this compound exhibits a tetranuclear structure with thionate ligands acting as bridges between two metallic atoms. Vibrational and NMR spectra of the complex are discussed and related to the structure.
