摘要：

The complex of [Co(phen)Cl_2]was synthesized(phen=1,10-phenanthroline)and the interaction of the complex with calf thymus DNA was studied using absorption and emission spectroscopy.These results suggested the complex can intercalate DNA base pairs.The binding constant of the complex to DNA is 2.4×10~4.In addition,agorose gel electrophoresis showed the complex was an efficient oxidative cleavage reagent.
