Phytosomes in functional cosmetics
摘要：
Phospholipids and some vegetal active principles can originate complexes, called PHYTOSOMEs. These complexes can be characterized by 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, 31P-NMR and FT-IR. It has been found that the complexation increases the activity of the active principle. In this review we report some results obtained in experimental tests, both in animals and in human beings. More precisely, anti-inflammatory and microvasculokinetic activities of glycyrrhetinic acid, silymarin, dimeric flavonoids of Ginkgo biloba, and aescin-β-sitosterol PHYTOSOMEs were investigated.
