Organic Solvent–Free Direct Asymmetric Aldol Reactions Catalyzed by a Siloxy Serine Organocatalyst in Brine
摘要：
A siloxy serine organocatalyst has been developed to catalyze direct asymmetric aldol reactions in aqueous saline media. The asymmetric aldol reactions between a selection of aromatic aldehydes and cyclohexanone afforded the products in good yields and enantioselectivities (up to 92% ee).
