摘要：

The quality of marine chart is the core and soul of maritime fundamental information. At present, though the production and updating of paper chart has already achieved digitization, the traditional manual way is still used to detect the quality of paper chart which not only has low efficient, but also can not guarantee to check all the possible errors so that the accuracy of chart data can not ensured. Therefore, a new method and strategy of quality detection for paper charts based on standard database is presented in this paper. It takes full account of digital production technology of paper chart production and updating, and aims at the efficient quality detection for paper charts production in digital conditions. In this paper, the chart quality detection prototype system based on the presented methods has been developed and obtained good application in Tianjin Maritime Safety Administration Bureau.
