Demonstration of low loss integrated InGaAsP/InP demultiplexer device with low polarisation sensitivity
摘要:
An integrated InGaAsP/InP wavelength demultiplexer operating around 1.5 μm wavelength, using total internal reflection from dry-etched collimating mirrors and transmission grating, has been realised in polarisation insensitive symmetrical slab waveguide. The device exhibits polarisation dispersion that equates to less than 1 nm spectral dispersion, losses down to 7.2 dB and crosstalk less than –20 dB.
