摘要:
Background. Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma involving the endobronchial tree is rare. We report a case of primary marginal zone B-cell lymphoma of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma located in the lung and central bronchus. Case. A 54-year-old woman was referred to our hospital from her home doctor for an abnormal chest shadow on a routine health checkup in August 2008. Chest computed tomography (CT) showed a tumor shadow in the right upper lobe (S^3). The size of this shadow was 3.5×2.4cm. Bronchoscopic examination showed multiple submucosal nodules in bilateral central bronchi. Transbronchial lung biopsy (TBLB) of the right upper lobe tumor was performed, and the result was suspicious for low grade malignancy B-cell lymphoma because of the presence of small lymphocytic infiltration that was dominated by scanty variant B lymphocytes. Autofluorescence bronchoscopy detected a decrease of autofluorescence of the endobronchial nodules and the result of the biopsy from these nodules was MALT lymphoma. Conclusion. It is necessary to consider the possibility of MALT lymphoma when multiple nodules are detected by bronchoscopy.
