1 H NMR study of new heterodinuclear macrocyclic complexes

New heterodinuclear complexes [MML], where M=Ni, M=Mn, Fe, Co, Cu, Znor M=Co, M=Zn, 2Hand LH=11,23-dimethyl-3,7,15,19-tetra-azatricyclo[19.3.1.1]hexacosa-2,7,9,11,13(26),14,19,21(25),22,24-decaene-25,26-diol (Robson ligand) are described. The complexes have been synthesised in a new, very short synthetic route, and characterised by elemental analysis, UV–Vis, IR and EPR spectroscopy. The purity and heterodinuclear nature of the obtained compounds has been confirmed byNMR spectroscopy and electrospray mass spectrometry. The signal assignment of those high-spin, paramagnetic complexes has been based on detailedNMR analysis and comparison with related homodinuclear analogues.
