Key words: children radiology, uroradiology, computer tomography, urography, split-bolus.Computer tomography is very informative diagnostic tool for examination of kidneys and urogenital tract. Exposure to ioni- sing radiation applied in such investigation should be limited to the minimum in children. On possibility to achieve reducti- on of exposure of children to the radiation is reduction of phases in computer tomography without loss of diagnostic value. Data on the application of split-bolus injection of contrast media in computer tomography examinations from Department of Children Radiology of Vilnius University Hospital Santariskiu Klinikos is presented in this article.
