摘要:

Sunlight photooxidations at ppm levels of butene-1 and of isobutylene with NO 2 were made in air and in atmospheres with less than 200 ppm oxygen. This work was undertaken to observe differences in the products in photooxidations with low- and high-oxygen concentrations. In the low-oxygen atmosphere the products were characterized by oxygen atom-olefin reactions. In the air the products were characteristic of ozone-olefin reactions. The photooxidations were faster in the low-oxygen atmosphere than in air.
