摘要：

The present status and development tendency of utilizing ultrafiltration membrane technology in the modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) are overviewed,including the basic principles and application examples of ultrafiltration in the separation of TCM effective sites , and the technique essentials of membrane technology. Finally, the problems to be overcome and the development orientation of the membrane technology are briefly pointed out.
