Serine/Threonine kinase Pim family has three members: Pim-1,Pim-2 and Pim-3 , all of them are calcium/calmodulin-regulated kinase (CAMP). Pim plays important roles in the cell apoptosis, cell cycle control and carcinogenesis. This article reviews the recent advance in the research of Pim genes.
