From April 2008 to May 2017, Perforate-invaginate (PIN) stripping were treated in 1144 consecutive cases of saphenous varicose veins in day surgery. We routinely perform femoral nerve block and saphenous nerve blocks with 1% Xylocaine to each 3 ml and 6 ml under echo-guide. We made improvements in the length and angle Oesch PIN stripper and created by ourselves. We also further added new method to silk thread to Oesch PIN stripper. We obtained satisfactory results with less postoperative pain, bleeding and peripheral nerve damage.
