A personal narrative is presented which explores the author's experience of conducting the study "Pharmacologic Effects of CI-581, a New Dissociative Anesthetic, in Man.," with the help of Guenter Corssen and Pete Chodoff, which appeared in a 1965 issue of "Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics."
