摘要:

52093-30-8 ]C 3 F 9 O 9 S 3 Y(MW 536.12) InChI= 1S/3CHF3O3S.Y/c3*2-1(3,4)8(5,6)7;/h3*(H,5,6,7);/q;;;+3/p-3 InChIKey= JPJIEXKLJOWQQK-UHFFFAOYSA-K ( yttrium triflate [Y(OTf) 3 ] is a rare earth metal salt that functions as a Lewis acid in promoting a variety of reactions including aldol, Mannich, cycloaddition, Friedel–Crafts, and radical reactions. 1 While most Lewis acids are decomposed or deactivated in the presence of water, Y(OTf) 3 has been shown to be water compatible. In addition, many nitrogen-containing compounds are successfully activated by a catalytic amount of Y(OTf) 3 . Yttrium triflate has similar properties to other lanthanide triflates [Ln(OTf) 3 ]; however, it is often less reactive than the more commonly employed scandium triflate [Sc(OTf) 3 ] or ytterbium triflate [Yb(OTf) 3 ] Lewis acids, with a few exceptions. 2 Analogous to the other rare earth metal triflates, Y(OTf) 3 can be recovered easily after reactions and is regarded as an environment-friendly catalyst) Alternate Name: yttrium(III) triflate. Form Supplied in: colorless solid. Preparative Method: yttrium triflate is commercially available. However, it can be prepared by addition of yttrium(III) oxide (commercially available) to an aqueous solution of trifluoromethanesulfonic acid (50% v/v) followed by heating to boiling for 0.5–1 h. 3 The mixture is then purified by filtration and the resulting hydrated salt is dried in vacuo (1 mmHg) at 200°C for 1 h before using.
