The article discusses the collaboration between Omnitech Inc. and Kian Joo Can Factory in Malaysia to produce drawn and ironed (D&I) cans that are accessible for all markets. The companies have developed the joint venture KJO to support the Omni-Can System (OCS). The OCS line is capable of making two-piece food and beverage cans, as well as one-piece bottles and two-piece aerosols. The flexible design of OCS allows handling of different products.
