The uses of pincer complexes in organic synthesis

Pincer complexes consist of a tridentate skeleton bound to a metal by at least one metal–carbon σ bond. The highly protected environment for the resident metal gives pincer complexes with excellent potential as catalysts in a wide variety of organic reactions.<fig loc="abs"><link locator="gr1"></fig>
