The Bioactivities of Three Kinds of Essential Oils on Four Species of Important Stored - grain Insects
摘要:
Essential oils were extracted by Soxhlet extractions with anhydrous diethyl ether from Citrus suavissima Tanaka, Ailanthus altissima L. and Capsicum frutescensp L. , and their bioactivities on Sitophilus oryzae, Oryzaephilus surinamensis, Tribolium castaneum adults and Liposcelis paeta nymphae were detailedly investigated in the paper. The results showed that the essential oils extracted from A. altissima and C. frutescensp significantly repelled the four species of important stored - grain insects, the essential oils extracted from C. suavissima could distinctly attract L. paeta nymphae. All of the essential oils possessed strong contact - killing effects on S. oryzae adults and fumigant activities on O. surinamensis adults. All of the essential oils successfully inhibited O. surinamensis and S. oryzae current population, especially, the current population percentage of O. surinamensis reached 100%.
