Structures of Novel Antimicrobial Agents for Textiles - A Review
摘要:
One or even two QAS groups of differing structure have already been incorporated into molecules of mono- and diazo dyes (Figure 6A) as well as anthraquinone dyes (Figure 6B), with the aim of obtaining novel cationic antimicrobial dyes [36-41]. The presence of a chemically bonded QAS group enables the biostatic activity of the dyes. Owing to the QAS content, the di-substituted dyes generate higher antimicrobial activities than mono-substituted dyes [36].
