The article offers information on in-mold labeling (IML) technology used to put labels on products during the process of packaging. It informs that Belgium-based printing company Verstraete offers metallized cold foil IML FOIL labels and labels printed with metallic ink which is more economical than the use of cold-foil label. It informs about the 1-Seal lid technology developed by thermoplastic sheet producer Spartech Corp. has made the use of IML in to order to develop renewable package.
